Sueh Li is a type and graphic designer from Penang, Malaysia. She holds a Masters in type design from the Type and Media Master program at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 2009.

With an interest of finding Malaysia's own unique identity in typography and type design, she is keen in exploring multilingualism and vernacular type. Her work covers a broad range, from custom type for branding projects to multilingual type in non-latin script. She is also the founder of Huruf, an educational platform that explores type design and typography that are inspired by Malaysian culture through workshops, talks, events and research.
